Drive through western North Dakota these days and you'll see flames at oil well sites.
It's natural gas being burned off gas that's not being captured in part because there's no economical way to get it to market.
Now a Texas company wants to build a pipeline to carry natural gas to a major pipeline that runs through central North Dakota.
E-O-G Resources wants the pipeline to run from Palermo to Towner to hook up with the Alliance Pipeline to Chicago.
A Public Service Commission hearing on the proposal is scheduled next month.
